About Us
Railway Model Store was born in 2018 in Birmingham in the UK, from our founder Ben’s childhood passion for N Gauge model railways! We are here to offer excellent customer service to help you find the models you are looking for, and with a great customer service team and a vast range of over 2000 products in stock, and hundreds more ready to pre order we can guarantee we can assist you in finding the perfect product for you. Our customer service team headed by Josh is available 7 days a week, and you can call Adam, our model railway specialist, on the phone and he will do his best to answer any queries you may have about your order and what products we can provide you with - see our 'Contact Us' page for more information.
Our range of products cover the globe, with British Outline OO Gauge models available from well known brands such as Hornby, Dapol, Heljan and Oxford Rail, and more recently Rapido Trains UK, Accurascale and Revolution Trains. British N Gauge is also available from Dapol, Rapido Trains UK and the well respected Japanese manufacturer, Kato. Outside of the UK, we stock a vast selection of continental models in both HO and N Gauge, with well known European Manufacturers such as Roco, Fleischmann, Piko and Hornby international brands such as Electrotren, Rivarossi and Jouef also available! For those modelling outside of Europe, we also stock Japanese N Gauge products from Kato and a range of US outline models available to pre order in both HO and N Gauge from Walthers and Kato!
We specialise in mail-order, with our staff operating online across the globe and our warehouse and distribution centre being based in Essex! We offer next day delivery within the UK and fast delivery around the world.
Our website is constantly being updated, with new products being introduced weekly, and older, sold out products being removed regularly to give you the best possible browsing experience! If we do not have a product that you wish to purchase, feel free to contact us and we are more than happy to add a specific product to our website or take an order for it by email or phone!
Our Team:
Ben is the founder of Railway Model Store, Aircraft Model Store and more recently, Car Model Store, responsible for keeping the business running smoothly and efficiently.
Adam is our operations assistant, entirely devoted to working on Railway Model Store projects to help us expand our business, as well as carrying out the majority of day to day tasks such as ordering and listing new products, communicating with our suppliers and communicating with customers via our bi-weekly newsletters, and of course assisting our customers over the phone, offering a fast and friendly service to help you find the models you want! As well as this Adam works to produce videos reviews on youtube, so the customer can see videos of products before they purchase them!
Igor carries out a huge range of tasks across our businesses, including website design, finances and being responsible for the upkeep of our Aircraft Model Store and Car Model Store businesses with tasks including ordering new products and working with suppliers to allow the customer to have the best range of products possible.
Josh is the manager of our top class customer service team, made up of Karen, Heidi and Aubrey who work across all our sites to answer any of your questions about of products, or arrival dates of up and coming products, as well as this they work hard behind the scenes to keep our websites up to date, and to help us with researching new products for us to stock.
Elliot is our in-house graphic designer, working hard to produce a range of unique products such as posters, as well as producing brilliant banners to add to our websites to keep them looking as fresh and as modern as possible!
